Marketing Proposal Specialist – Cincinnati

General Information

The Marketing Proposal Specialist an entry-level position. This person supports the creation, organization, development, and production of proposals, and all accompanying requirements. He or she also supports the professional staff of L&B with formal document preparation, formatting, production, and shipping. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Communications and Branding, but will take direction on projects from colleagues throughout the company.

Essential Functions

  • Supports the L&B team world wide, including consultant staff and corporate functions
  • Work products may include RFP/RFQ responses, presentation and interview materials, resumes, project profiles, and technical reports
  • Works efficiently and effectively to complete projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Supports production, packaging, and delivery for work products including printing, binding, and shipping
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with all levels of staff within the company and with subcontractors outside of the company
  • Supports QA/QC on proposals and documents (both written and graphic-related)
  • Supports other marketing and communications needs as required

Educational/Technical/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a business setting required
  • Proficient with computers and software applications, including MS Office (Word and PowerPoint expertise especially required)
  • Knowledge of InDesign and Illustrator helpful
  • Page layout with graphics ability helpful
  • Possess exceptional organization, grammar, proofreading and spelling abilities
  • Professional writing experience helpful
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments with critical deadlines

Travel Expectations

Takes on average less than 2 business-related trips annually

Job Type: Full-time expectation of 40 hours per week. Some evenings will be required.
