L&B Promotes Erik Kriel to Officer & Vice President
Landrum & Brown (L&B), a global aviation planning and development consultancy, announces the promotion of Erik Kriel to Officer and Vice President as well as Head of the Australia and South East Asia (ASEA) Subdivision, effective immediately.
Kriel will report to Gary Gibb, President Asia Pacific, and will assume overall responsibility for the delivery of consulting services to clients in Australia, South East Asia, Africa and India.
Kriel has over 20 years’ experience in strategic airport projects including terminal design, airport master planning and airline consultation. Prior to joining L&B in 2015, he headed Airport Planning for the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), where he was extensively involved with various master plan projects at ACSA’s 10 local airports as well as its overseas operated airports.
Kriel has worked at some of the largest hub airports in the world, including Dubai and Hong Kong. Recently, he was aviation lead consultant on the Melbourne Airport Master Plan. Currently, he spearheads the planning efforts for the new airport in Western Sydney, Australia.
