The range of cargo services that we offer is very broad and brings immediate “value added” to any airport seeking guidance on air cargo, from exploring how to start up a cargo operation at a small airport to managing space and identifying new revenue opportunities at mature cargo gateways that measure cargo in the millions of tons. Our marketing group, the Air Cargo Team (ACT), is the most experienced in North America and specializes in building new business through creating connectivity for carriers and supporting firms throughout the industry.

We develop forecasts integrating top down and bottom up projections that are tested against regional and airport specific operating and strategic issues. We also conduct market analyses from in-depth assessments for bond sales to less extensive due diligence reports to determine the viability of the air cargo market, growth potential, critical issues, and key marketing points. We also develop marketing strategies and carrier specific tactics to grow business through increased operations or expanded leasing.

We also understand the practical applications. We convert forecasts into facility requirements segregated by belly and freighter operations. Outputs include aircraft parking, truck parking and queuing, building and roadway geometry, automobile parking, and warehouse and office space. We create utilization criteria for cargo buildings based on carrier specific and overall airport cargo volumes and land availability and develop methodologies and priorities for the allocation of cargo space among competing users. When new facilities are needed, we can prepare cargo development RFQs & RFPs with appropriate evaluation criteria, manage the solicitation process, market the Requests to the development community to maximize participation, and provide expert analysis of the financial and operational aspects of developer responses in the actual evaluation.
