At Landrum & Brown we plan airports – Large, complex facilities like those of Chicago O’Hare, Los Angeles, and JFK Airports, as well as those of smaller airports, but not lesser in complexity, such as Dayton International Airport in Ohio, and T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island. We plan all types of facilities at an airport: the airfield, the airspace, the terminals, roads, parking, RACs, cargo, and so on. We plan all facilities because one aspect of an airport, such as the airside, cannot be planned properly without understanding the implications to other elements of the airport, such as terminals and roads. Further, we plan on as broad or as detailed terms as you need, because we recognize that your needs may differ from time to time, and a plan is only successful if it meets your goals.
The Airport Master Plan is at the heart of the airport facilities planning services that we offer. It can range in scope from a traditional Master Plan Update, to a short-term CIP verification study, to a more confined Terminal Area or Cargo Plan, to a broad, Strategic Plan aimed at identifying long-term land use and strategic objectives relative to air service.
